Help Your Students Gain a Basic Understanding of Money
Many children think that money is something that appears out of thin air. With Moneyville you can help your students build a fundamental understanding of where money comes from.
Moneyville teaches your 5-7 year old students about money
In Moneyville, your youngest students can play their way to a better understanding of the concept of money. Your students will (individually or in groups) use their own Moneyville characters to earn money, which they can then use to purchase items for their room or to go on trips in the time machine.

Everything your students purchase ends up in their very own room.
Your students will learn to put some thought into what they spend money on. What can be purchased with the amount they have, and if the item cheap or expensive?
In Penny’s Shop your students can choose between all kinds of things at different prices.
The game is developed so that even your youngest students can take part. They’ll just need help with their name and password – the rest they can handle themselves or in groups.
Your 8-9 year old students learn to save up and prioritise
The Family Game is for older students. The task here is to create an imaginary family, with car, house, pet, etc., where your student’s choices will have an impact on how much money the family has available in their budget every month over the course of a year.
In the Family Game, your student is in charge of a family’s budget, expenses and savings over the course of an entire year.
Based on common household situations, your students have to manage the family’s finances – without going over budget. How should they prioritise when the budget has to cover not only car repairs, but also the family’s holiday to a sunny destination?
There is a lot to learn in Moneyville
In Moneyville your students learn to earn money, prioritise and save up. There are many different activities, each with their own lessons to learn.
